IQ400 Satellite Tracking Unit
IQgistics' IQ400 Satellite Tracking unit utilizes the Inmarsat D+ satellite communications network for a true global coverage virtually anywhere (98%). Four configurable input/output lines together with a built-in GPS and Inmarsat D+ satellite antennae provide monitoring and control capabilities, eliminating the requirement for additional controller devices by utilizing the IQ400 as the complete remote tracking, monitoring and control solution.

Four dedicated I/O pins, each configurable
- Digital input (2 processor wake-up enabled)
- Detect external ground closure
- Detect external voltage
- Digital output open collector (max 100 mA source)
- 50 mA sink
- External pull-up
- Analogue Voltage Input
- 0-3V
- 8-bit resolution
- One of the four pins available for each
- Analogue current input – 4-20 mA current detect
- 50 Ohm low-impedance resistor
- All I/O pins are protected against shorts to ground or voltage inputs up to 30V
These new monitoring and control capabilities will enable the IQ 400 to be used as a complete remote monitoring and control solution eliminating the requirement for a separate I/O controller or microprocessor solution resulting in a significant cost savings. In conjunction with IQgistics’ powerful scripting language, these new capabilities will significantly increase the flexibility and range of uses for the IQ 400 terminal. Whether you need to track, monitor or control any asset on land or at sea, the IQ 400 is the ideal ‘small message’ service for mobile assets.
